RULE 21: International Arbitrations

1. The UNClTRAL Rules shall apply to any international arbitration under these Rules.

2. The provisions of Rules 1 to 20 inclusive shall also apply to any international arbitration under these Rules to the extent that any such Rule or Rules are not inconsistent with the UNCITRAL Rules which shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.

The appointing body referred to in Article 6 of the UNCITRAL Rules shall be the Institute which may, by resolution of Council and in accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia, delegate the power of appointment to the President for the time being or the person so acting.
